Creative Mornings is an international organization that is devoted to connecting the creative communities in cities around the world. Each month attendees gather to enjoy coffee, friendly people, some free breakfast food, and to enjoy inspiring talks by other creative people.

Each week there’s a global theme, but each city’s chapter interprets it in a different way. And, although Creative Mornings is about creativity, this doesn’t mean it’s just about artists. Creativity in all arenas — businesses, non-profits, engineering — is explored and celebrated.

Creative Mornings is in 252 cities in 70 countries.

The next Creative Mornings Charlotte takes place Friday, September 5, 2025, from 8 to 10 a.m., at Project 658, 3646 Central Avenue, Charlotte, North Carolina. It’s free to attend, but you need to register and space is limited.

The featured guest is actor Brian Lafontaine, who has had roles in Ozark, Stranger Things, Outer Banks, Homeland and more. He’s also a public speaking coach who helps people communicate with clarity, confidence and authenticity.
