RALEIGH, N.C. — A couple is capturing hearts after being spotted dancing in the snow in downtown Raleigh.
The moment, captured just after midnight by Ann Win Anh Nguyen, shows the pair twirling on an empty, snow-blanketed street downtown.
Nguyen, who spotted the couple from her apartment window, initially thought it could have been a proposal. She shared the video with friends at Raleigh Downtown, where the video quickly went viral, amassing over 50,000 likes in less than 24 hours.
Social media users and local businesses flooded the comments with offers of cakes, dinners, and engagement photos, all trying to identify the mysterious duo.
After some online detective work, the couple was located and shared a ground-level video of their romantic moment. They revealed they are already happily married, describing the dance as something “like in movies…but it’s real.”
The shy couple declined an interview but expressed gratitude for the community’s outpouring of love, sparked by a simple post and a magical moment.
Nguyen said she was just glad to have witnessed it. The ice-cold scene, now frozen in time, has warmed countless hearts.
