I love this tinted lip balm from Burt’s Bees! I’m not a lipstick-wearer, and I use lip balm all the time (usually just Vaseline), so this is perfect for me — and you, if you’re the same! It goes on very smoothly and feels hydrating, and it gives your lips a somewhat subtle but definitely noticeable boost. It stays on well (but not the eight hours that the company claims), and is made with shea butter and free of parabens, phthalates, petrolatum, and SLS.

For me, “Red Dahlia” (recommended by readers in Kat’s tinted lip balm post) is not quite my-lips-but-better — it’s darker than that — but it’s still the perfect shade for my pale skin. I hope Burt’s Bees never discontinues this shade! Pictured is “Zinnia.”
