Clouds, possible traces of rain today
[ad_1]
PORTLAND, Oregon — Cloudy skies for your Friday with possible traces of rain over Portland and an increasing chance of rain as you head north of Vancouver. Areas near and south of Salem will remain dry. Valley highs this afternoon will hold near 60 degrees.
Up in the Cascades, 4″ of snow remains on the ground near and above 4,500 feet. All pass highways show clean pavement with no weather issues expected today as snow levels begin to rise.
Your weekend shows a dry Saturday with thinning cloudiness locally for partly sunny skies and Portland highs warming to 70 degrees. Rain returns Sunday afternoon as a cold front arrives. Weather models show up to 1/4″ of possible rainfall. Look for a few scattered showers Monday.
Dry weather shows up Tuesday through Thursday of next week. I am tracking likely rain next Friday and rain at times through the following weekend.
