SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – St. Mark Armenian Church hosted its 38th annual festival on Sunday, offering guests a vibrant celebration of Armenian culture through food, music, and art.
The festival, a longstanding tradition for the church, serves as its largest fundraiser of the year, with all proceeds going towards church operations.
“We’re all people,” said church member Svetlana Atayan. “We need to come together, we need to communicate. We need to respect and love each other.”
The festival featured a variety of Armenian foods and live music, providing attendees with an authentic cultural experience. In addition to culinary delights, the event showcased artwork and handmade items directly from Armenia, further highlighting the rich cultural heritage.
The festival not only celebrated Armenian culture but also fostered community spirit and understanding among people from different backgrounds.
