Cher knows Kristen Bell is in a good place thanks to Dax Shepard.
So, while the “Believe” singer isn’t the biggest fan of her Burlesque costar’s husband, she’s happy that Kristen found her happy ending.
“Who would be your dream partner for her?” Dax asked Cher on the Jan. 5 episode of his Armchair Expert podcast with Kristin. “‘Cause I know you think she could be better, and I don’t disagree.”
Although Cher didn’t dispute what Dax—who shares daughters Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 11, with Kristin—said, she explained why she’s glad to see them together.
“The truth is, I trust her,” the Grammy winner said of the Nobody Wants This actress. “So, you must have something that I don’t see.”
Cher—who debuted her relationship with Alexander “AE” Edwards in 2022—also added, “And you seem like a good dad.”
Dax, 51, was determined to get on Cher’s good side, however, sharing one of his best qualities. As he put it, “I’m not threatened by her shining. I love it. The shinier she gets, the better.”
