Chase removed the ‘Chase Slate’ card from it’s card lineup in April 2020. Chase then replaced it with the Chase Slate Edge card in April 2021, I believe that card was discontinued in January 2026 sometime. Now Chase has brought back the original Chase Slate card and are offering 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers for 21 months. There is a balance transfer fee of $5 or 5%, whichever is higher.
If interest rates continue to drop I suspect we will see more 0% APR offers. How useful an offer like this is really depends on the credit limit you receive (Chase does let you reallocate limits, although I have a vague memory of this being troublesome with the Slate card) and what you can do with the funds as well as if you have the discipline not to overspend.
