Chapel Hill dog goes viral after nearly setting house on fire

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WTVD) — A Chapel Hill dog is going viral after nearly setting his house on fire.

Colton was home alone, playing with a device, when the lithium battery inside suddenly burst into flames.

Thankfully, the fire went out quickly, and Colton wasn’t hurt. His owner, a Chapel Hill firefighter, shared the dramatic video with the department to stress the importance of safely storing devices with lithium batteries.
