Law enforcement officials have released surveillance footage in the hopes of tracking down two men after, police said, an employee at a Wingstop in Philly’s Overbrook neighborhood was injured in a shooting.

On Wednesday morning, police shared surveillance video of the incident on social media.

Though the video claims the incident happened on “September 8, 2025” the shooting was previously said to have happened on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025, at about 5:18 p.m., officials initially said.

NBC10 has reached out to police to clarify.

In this incident, officials said that a shooting happened shortly after two men — one described as having shoulder-length, braided hair and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a clock logo, black and white “Jordan” sneakers and a ball cap with a “K” logo and another described as having shoulder-length braided hair and wearing a black and blue sweatshirt with an “Amari” logo on the chest and “Amari” written on black and white sneakers — walked into the shop.

At that time, police said, an argument erupted between the pair and store employees after the men allegedly used marijuana in the store.

During this argument, officials said, one of the men produced a firearm and fired once, hitting a female employee — though, she declined medical attention after the incident.

Both men, police said, fled the scene in a white sedan, that was possibly a late model Volvo S60.

Police are asking anyone with information on this incident to contact the Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group at 215-686-8270/71.
