What’s free on the Epic Games Store this week?

    [ad_1]

Players can pick up First Class Trouble, Gamedec — Definitive Edition, and Divine Knockout, which are free to download, play, and keep from the Epic Games Store, beginning Thursday, Jan. 12.

First Class Trouble, from developer Invisible Walls, is a survival and social deduction game (presented in third-person perspective). Players are aboard a space cruise ship whose AI network is about to take control of the vessel and, obviously, kill everyone onboard. Players have to shut down the AI while also rooting out the android impostors among them.

First Class Trouble launched in November 2021 and was a day-and-date launch for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers that month. It has a strongly positive reputation among Steam players who have left reviews for it.

Gamedec is a single-player cyberpunk RPG developed by Anshar Studios, and sends players to work as a game detective who solves crimes inside virtual worlds. Players interview witnesses and suspects in pursuit of rooting out deception and saving lives. Anshar describes the game as adaptive, molding itself around your choices. Gamedec’s Definitive Edition, released in September 2022, included a variety of tweaks and new characters, plus the challenging True Detective Mode.

Divine Knockout (aka DKO) from Red Beard Games and Hi-Rez Studios bills itself as a third-person, 3D Smash-like, where the goal is knocking your opponents off the stage. The roster of fighters is drawn from familiar mythos, including Hercules, King Arthur, Amaterasu, and Thor — but also includes real-world personalities like TimTheTatman. The core mode of play is a 3-vs-3 battle, where the rules and goals can change each round. Divine Knockout also features 2-vs-2 and 1-on-1 fights that are strictly combat and KO-focused. The game was previously offered as a PlayStation Plus freebie in December, when it launched.

All three games are available to claim now, but only for the next seven days. Last week’s free games, Kerbal Space Program and Shadow Tactics — Aiko’s Choice are back in the marketplace at their regular price.

The Epic Games Store freebies are available to anyone who has an (also free) Epic Games Store account; they’ll be added to your library and launched from there. Epic has been giving away free games on a weekly basis, as an inducement to join the store (and play Epic’s own games, such as Fortnite) since it launched in December 2018.

The next free game coming from the Epic Games Store is adventure-typing game Epistory – Typing Chronicles, which will be available from Jan. 19 to Jan. 26.

When does the Epic Games Store update with free games?

Typically, Epic refreshes its lineup of free games every Thursday at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT.

Epic Games Store 2023 free games history

    • Jan. 1 to Jan 5: Dishonored — Definitive Edition and Eximus: Seize the Frontline
    • Jan. 5 to Jan. 12: Kerbal Space Program and Shadow Tactics — Aiko’s Choice

  • Season: A letter to the future new story trailer revealed, PS5 features detailed

Season: A letter to the future new story trailer revealed, PS5 features detailed

    [ad_1]

In Season: A letter to the future, you play as a young woman from a secluded village exploring the world by bike for the first time, collecting memories before a cataclysm washes everything away. Your journey brings you to a strange valley where the seeds of the next Season have been planted. You meet the last remaining inhabitants the day just before they’re to be evacuated. In this last moment, you try to piece together the mysteries of the valley. Every conversation, every landscape, brings you closer to understanding: what is this Season and why is it ending?

    What’s the story?

Most of the themes of “Season: A letter to the future” are expressions of the anxieties of our age. We’re heading towards a future we know will be worse than the present. As this becomes more certain, it has an attendant thought that feels even darker: These awful years are also the good times. The story exists to give some kind of poetic expression (poetic meaning barely under control, the subconscious has the wheel) to these thoughts and feelings, to defamiliarize them, tear them up and put them back together in a fantasy world. There is another major motif to the story as well: The five senses.

The senses or how things feel

The game often calls attention to your senses. The screen goes black several times as the character closes her eyes to listen closer to sounds. How things taste, feel, or smell, are often described as you explore. This theme found potent expression in many of the features available only on PlayStation 5. How does it feel to ride a bicycle? The adaptive triggers let us vary the resistance depending on the speed or the steepness of the road, so going uphill feels uphill. The haptic feedback also changes as you cycle over different types of terrain. When recording audio in the game, you hear the sound but you also feel the shape of it in the vibration of the DualSense controller.

Season also uses Tempest 3D AudioTech to add a deeper level of detail to the spatial dimensions of sound. The world is populated with ear-catching sounds that demand this close inspection. Music doesn’t just exist in the score but is part of the world, self-playing musical instruments, tunes from the radio, unusual bird songs, wind singing through bamboo. These are rich details but given the thematic importance the game attaches to our senses, they take on an added layer of meaning.

Interact with the world and its people

There are many diverse people you will meet on your adventure through the world of Season. When you come across them, each is preparing for the changing Season in their own way. Join them in their final moments in their home, and record their stories.

Kochi, a young boy, takes you on a bicycle tour of a valley the day before it is flooded. Get to know the home he grew up in as he prepares for his final goodbye.

Maytora, an outsider artist, documents the story of the valley through her sculptures. You’re the only witness to her final piece.

Easel is the last monk of Tieng Valley. Left behind by his teachers and friends, Easel awaits the change of the Season in isolation, with nothing to pray for until you arrive.

You guide them through moments of quiet crisis. In their lives, the change coming to the world is not abstract, it is immediate. They are trying to navigate, to survive, to find a way to live. You help them. You remember them. In your journal, carry them with you.

    • A stunning bicycle road trip: Wind your way through stunning landscapes on your bicycle. Slow down and take in the incredible scenery in vista after memorable vista.
    • Explore a mysterious world: Meet a diverse cast of characters along your way, who will change the course of your story. The land of Tieng Valley is open for you to explore, investigate and learn about the past and the future of this place.
    • Document, photograph, and record: Collect memories, make recordings, and discover the secrets of this Season before it ends. Your journal is the key to understanding this world.
    • Beautiful soundtrack: Listen to the haunting score as you travel, a perfect accompaniment for your journey.
    • Important choices: Pay attention to your surroundings as you live through the story and resolve the end of Season. Choose the questions you ask characters carefully, as these choices will impact your relationships and understanding of the world. Remember, what you collect is what will be saved for the next Season.

The gameplay of Season: A letter to the future focuses on exploring, recording, meeting others, and unraveling the strange world around you. Wind your way through stunning landscapes on your bicycle. At any point, you can hop off your bike and equip a recording tool from your bag. Each captures a different element; sounds and music, art and architecture, voices of strangers, vanishing religious practices, and the traces of Seasons long past. Your tools help you examine the world more closely until you’re able to grasp the culture, history, and ecology underneath it all.Season: A letter to the future will be available digitally on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on January 31. You may pre-order now or add to your Wishlist!

Prepare For A Beautiful Journey With A New Season: A Letter To The Future Story Trailer

    [ad_1]

Developer Scavengers Studio revealed last month that it was releasing Season: A Letter To The Future on January 31, and now, just a few weeks ahead of that, the studio has released a gorgeous new story trailer.

This new trailer provides yet another beautiful glimpse into the painterly world of Season while providing new details about what our protagonist is doing: archiving the end of the Earth and the final people still living on it. She strives to capture their final moments in her journal and with her camera, aiming to learn why they’re still around and ultimately, what kept them going. It sounds like quite the emotional journey.

Check out the new Season: A Letter To The Future story trailer for yourself below

As you can see, Season is shaping up to possibly be something special. Fortunately, we don’t have to wait too much longer to find out because it hits PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on January 31.

For the uninitiated, Season is about the young woman featured in the trailer above leaving her secluded village to explore the world, by bike, for the first time in her life. She aims to collect memories of this world ahead of a massive cataclysm that will destroy it all.

The trailer above reveals three new characters and Scavengers Studios has provided some additional details on them:

    • Kochi, a young boy, takes you on a bicycle tour of a valley the day before it is flooded.
    • Maytora, an outsider artist, documents the story of the valley through her sculptures. You’re the only witness to her final piece.
    • Easel is the last monk of Tieng Valley. Left behind by his teachers and friends, Easel awaits the change of the season in isolation, with nothing to pray for until you arrive.

“This project would not exist without the series of miraculous people who compose our team, who lifted us up and poured their absolute souls into the game,” the game’s creative director Kevin Sullivan and head producer Margherita Siconnino write in a joint statement. “We’re deeply grateful to them and so excited for players to encouter stories and memories from the warmly fading world of Season. Now it’s time to rest, time to call home.”

  • The Callisto Protocol Is On Sale For Xbox Right Now

The Callisto Protocol Is On Sale For Xbox Right Now

    [ad_1]

Xbox players subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Live Gold can grab digital copies of The Callisto Protocol at a discount through the Microsoft Store. The Xbox Series X|S version is just $56 (normally $70), and the Xbox One version is down to $48 (from $60).

The Callisto Protocol is the debut game from Striking Distance Studios, a game studio made up of ex-Dead Space and Call of Duty developers, including director Glenn Schoefield. The game is positioned as a “spiritual successor” to the original Dead Space trilogy and features a mix of brutal action combat and sci-fi survival horror.

While The Callisto Protocol certainly has a strong pedigree behind it, fans and critics were ultimately split on whether it lived up to expectations when it was released in December 2022. In our review, Jordan Ramée gave The Callisto Protocol a 5/10, praising the graphical fidelity, audio design, and several of the main casts’ performances, but lamented the lackluster combat and late-game difficulty spike.

Despite the mixed critical response, The Callisto Protocol might be worth grabbing while it’s on sale for those who want to try the game for themselves.

  • Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda Is on Sale for $25 – IGN

Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda Is on Sale for $25 – IGN

    [ad_1]

Here’s an excellent deal for fans of classic Nintendo games. Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda is on sale for $25 at Walmart right now, with the sale price showing when you add it to your cart. That’s a pretty sweet discount, considering it normally costs $49.99. It’s an adorable handheld device that functions both as a clock and a retro gaming machine. This is the lowest price we’ve seen yet (it’s also on sale at Amazon for $42.99, if you really dislike Walmart for some reason).

Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda Deal

Like Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros., this Zelda gizmo is a dedicated handheld device that offers a few different functions. For one, it comes with three games.

    Games Included

    • The Legend of Zelda (NES)
    • Zelda II: The Adventures of Link (NES)
    • The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening (Game Boy)

That’s a lot of hours of classic gaming (34 hours total, according to How Long to Beat). It includes both the Western and Japanese versions of the first two Zeldas, which feature different soundtracks and sound effects, as well as the Game & Watch game Vermin. The screen looks nice, clear, and colorful, and the speakers offer plenty of volume.

In addition to offering games, it also functions as a clock. In this mode, in addition to telling the time, the display features Link automatically walking around in Zelda landscapes and fighting enemies. There’s also a timer function you can set for between one and 10 minutes. In this mode, you can take control of the green-clad hero and clash swords with octoroks and mobilns yourself. This mini-game-of-sorts counts how many enemies you kill at each time setting.

The box the device comes in also functions as a stand, which comes in handy when using it in clock mode. You can check out our full Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda review for even more details.

In any case, if you’ve been on the fence about picking this thing up, now’s a good time to do so, seeing as it’s on sale for the lowest price it’s ever been.

Dead Space Remake Continues To Look Terrifyingly Great In New Story Trailer

    [ad_1]

Developer Motive Studio and publisher EA have released a new story trailer for its upcoming remake of Dead Space, and the game continues to look terrifying and beautiful.

Due out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC later this month on January 27, this might be one of our last looks at the remake before it’s in the hands of players. Fortunately, this new trailer is nearly two minutes of cinematics and gameplay from the remake focused on the story of Dead Space. As expected, this remake isn’t changing much at all, utilizing the same story from the original 2008 release with updated visuals and audio (plus some new voice lines for protagonist Isaac Clarke).

Check out the new Dead Space Remake “Humanity Ends Here” trailer for yourself below

As you can see, Dead Space Remake continues to look great and we can’t wait to play it in just a few weeks.

‘Stardew Valley’ Gets More Updates Following 1.5 Launch on Mobile, Android Save File Missing Workaround Available – TouchArcade

    [ad_1]

A few days ago, Stardew Valley ($4.99) creator Eric Barone released the massive version 1.5 update for iOS and Android. This update brought the mobile version up to date with the PC and console version. Since then, we’ve had 3 total updates hit iOS with big fixes for new issues introduced. Some Android users also reported save-related issues. Eric has posted a workaround for the Android save file issue here. If you haven’t kept up with what the update itself brings, Stardew Valley 1.5 features new content including new end game content, quality of life features, the ability to move beds, a new Beach Farm, advanced game options, and a lot more. When Eric said this update was quite a re-write for the game on mobile, we can clearly see that with how fast these new bug fix updates are hitting. I’ve not run into major issues, but this is amazing to see, and I hope it is stable for everyone on both iOS and Android soon.

If you run into any issues with this update, you can report them here. Eric Barone is currently also working on Haunted Chocolatier, which is a brand new game I’m looking forward to playing on Steam Deck until we get a console and mobile confirmation. If you haven’t tried Stardew Valley yet, read our original review. We even featured it as our Game of the Week. You can buy it on the App Store for iOS here and for Android here on Google Play. If you own a Nintendo Switch and an iOS device, I compared both versions of the game to help you find the best platform to play it on. Here’s our forum thread on the game for more discussion. What do you think of Stardew Valley version 1.5 so far?

  • Marvel Snap ‘Battle Friends’ PvP Update Coming Later This Month

Marvel Snap ‘Battle Friends’ PvP Update Coming Later This Month

    [ad_1]

Get your decks ready because it might finally be time to face off against your friends in Marvel Snap later this month.

Marvel Snap has been a resounding success since its release, allowing players to compete against other real-world players with a variety of cards, random locations, and more. Despite the positive reception, one thing players have been asking for has been missing: the ability to play against your friends. Developer Second Dinner announced in November that it was working on an update to allow friends to battle each other and now, it has announced that this update is expected at the end of the month.

More specifically, the update is expected in a January 31 update, but Second Dinner says if it runs “into any last minutes issues, we may choose to delay for a little longer to make sure things work correctly,” as reported by Eurogamer

This news was revealed alongside word that the developer is introducing Series Drops into the game.

“It’s been a couple of months since we introduced Series 4 and Series 5 cards, and we’re excited about our first-ever Series Drop,” its blog post reads. “With every Series Drop, some Series 5 cards will move to Series 4, and some Series 4 cards will move to Series 3.”

Here are the cards dropping from Series 5 to Series 4

    • Valkyrie
    • Super-Skrull
    • Bast
    • Shuri
    • Black Panther

Here are the cards dropping from Series 4 to Series 3

    • Luke Cage
    • Absorbing Man
    • She-Hulk
    • Titania

Second Dinner says that when cards drop Series, they become 10 times more common in Collector’s Reserves, and much cheaper in the Token Shop. It is planning to do a Series Drop like this every month, and each one will require a patch. The drop above is planned for January 31 alongside the PvP update that will allow players to battle their friends. Most cards are on the table for Series Drops except for two 6-cost cards: Thanos and Galactus.

First Edition Badges will be added to Series 5 cards before they move down a series to let players who earned it before the drop indicate to others that they did so. This badge will appear on all variants and Infinity Splits of a card. Second Dinner is also looking into improving the Token Shop in such a way that it makes “the experience of earning Series 4 and 5 feel much better for folks who haven’t completed Series 3.”

    [Source: Eurogamer]

Personally, while I’m excited about these Series Drops, I especially can’t wait for the PvP update so I can finally just mop up the floor with my favorite deck against one of my best friends who, for some reason, thinks he even has a chance against me.

  • Dead Space Remake’s stunning launch trailer shows off Isaac aboard the USG Ishimura

Dead Space Remake’s stunning launch trailer shows off Isaac aboard the USG Ishimura

    [ad_1]

The remake of the classic sci-fi horror game, Dead Space, is right around the corner. So, of course, Motive Studio has treated us to a shiny new launch trailer to get us all even more excited about the game.

The trailer, titled ‘Humanity Ends Here’, shows off Isaac aboard the USG Ishimura, which looks better than ever. More importantly, though, the trailer kindly gifts us glimpses of iconic scenes from the original game, detailing just how faithful this remake might be.

Check out the Dead Space Remake’s stunning launch trailer here.

Release alongside a new entry to the Inside Dead Space series of blogs, Motive Studio has shown off explicitly just how much story matters this week. Whether it be through the familiar scenes shown in the trailer, or what the team shared in the blog post; it’s blatant that the story is pivotal to the remake.

Lead level designer, Catherine Stewart, shares that, “All the departments approached it with the same philosophy. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. For the most part, it was all about leaving alone the beats that made the game so great, and improving the ones that were problematic, where we thought we could do better. Walking that line was often difficult, but I think we struck a really good balance.”

Essentially, the team appears to have done whatever they can to ensure the original game’s story remains intact, and have approached the topic with ‘surgical precision.’ On the other hand, however, creative director Roman Campos-Oriola explains what is new in terms of Dead Space’s story.

“There have been a lot of stories told inside the Dead Space universe, with the later games, the books, the comics, the movie… So what we tried to do in this game is add a bit more lore, or make some adjustments to the lore, to have better continuity with the broader universe.”

Campos-Oriola continues, “We also gave a bit more screen time and agency and overall personality to some secondary characters. Some were really important ones, like Nicole and Mercer. But even characters like Jacob Temple and Elizabeth Cross, who were only really in audio logs in the original game, now actually have some screen time, and they have a role to play.”

All in all, the Dead Space Remake looks promising. You’ll be able to play it when it launches on January 27, 2023, on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S.

Oh, and don’t forget; preordering Dead Space will also bag you a free copy of Dead Space 2.

    About Ability Wars :

Guild Wars 2 is an MMO where you don’t have to worry about grinding repetitive dungeons to up your item level or farming for a certain piece of gear that is best in slot for your class. Once you craft your ascended or legendary gear – that’s it, you can go on hiatus for an entire decade and come back with the ability to ease yourself into whatever the current content is at the time. You may need to change the stats on your gear to compliment a new build, but you can easily change said stats on your current gear, or just craft another set with the stats you want. You can store both sets in your build plates to easily switch between, even!

I’ve been playing since Day 1 of the headstart and the gear system in GW2 has always been my absolute favourite. This comes after spending an eternity on World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XIV, where I found myself worrying more about gear score and having to play catch-up all the time (due to work, deployment, etc.), leaving me unable to enjoy current content with whatever friends I have playing the same game at the time.

I just had to come here and give Arena Net credit for their gear system, as I can come back to this game at any time and not feel left behind or left out – aside from grinding out mastery points and unlocking any new mounts that come out, but I can do that in my own time whilst still enjoying the current content with friends!

5 things you need to know about underwater city builder Aquatico

    [ad_1]

Running an underwater sea colony isn’t easy. Where do you begin? Where does the air come from? How do you prevent it from becoming a dystopian disaster and subsequently a setting for an underwater horror game? Devolver’s new underwater survival city-builder Aquatico answers those key questions for you, and our introduction here will make sure you’re not drowning in mismanagement and seawater when you get started.

    Getting started

In Aquatico, the sea is your canvas (and basically what’s left of the world following an asteroid collision). The biomes vary from bright vistas in blue waters, to darker and more mysterious terrain the deeper you go. Send out expeditions to discover what dwells in the oceans around you, but beware that not everything you find may be happy to see you.

Each and every day new mobile games are hitting the App Store, and so each week we put together a big old list of all the best new releases of the past seven days. Back in the day the App Store would showcase the same games for a week, and then refresh those features each Thursday. Because of that developers got into the habit of releasing their games throughout Wednesday or very early Thursday in order to hopefully get one of those coveted features spots. Nowadays the App Store refreshes constantly, so the need for everyone to release all on the same day has diminished. Still, we’ve kept our weekly Wednesday night format as for years that’s the time people knew to check TouchArcade for the list of new games. • The End of Humanity Arrives in the Dead Space Remake Launch Trailer

The End of Humanity Arrives in the Dead Space Remake Launch Trailer

    [ad_1]

    News

    The end is nigh.

After a turmoiled third entry, EA closed the doors on Dead Space, leaving the survival-horror series to float in space with no help in sight. Fast forward to 2021, and Motive Studio found itself stepping up to the plater reignite the series with a complete remake of the first game.

The Dead Space remake is rapidly approaching its launch later this month, and as it reaches that destination, the marketing is picking up the pace. The official launch trailer is here, full of thrills, horrific discoveries and centered on the end of humanity.

For the newcomers, Dead Space was released back in 2008 and focuses on the exploits of engineer turned battle survivor Isaac Clarke. Clarke is sent to the USG Ishimura as part of a rescue team after the massive planet cracker goes dark, only to discover that it has been overrun by an alien race known as the Necromorphs. Isaac’s mission becomes two-fold; he must figure out the cause of the outbreak, and he must find his girlfriend, Nicole, who’s on the ship but has gone missing.

The latter sentiment plays a pivotal role in the launch trailer, as Isaac begins losing his humanity as he travels deeper into the USG Ishimura to uncover the horrific secrets it holds. During the development process, Motive Studio has been very vocal about the changes coming to the game. With this trailer seemingly focusing more on Isaac’s human struggle, it highlights what players can expect in the remake as they fight for survival in the darkest corners of space.

  • I desperately need to go to this JRPG Taco Bell

I desperately need to go to this JRPG Taco Bell

    [ad_1]

You never know when something is going to pop off on the internet. This is what I thought when I saw a photo of a solitary Taco Bell set against a sweeping midwestern landscape. It had been shared by a person with two toilet emojis in their Twitter name. I just knew this was going places.

The joke read, “Anybody wants something from the jrpg world map tacobell?” It blew up because it was believable, receiving over 60,000 likes, and inspiring a batch of memes where people photoshopped images of JRPG landscapes onto the Taco Bell photo.

Twitter user A Jay Holmgren shared the original image in the summer of 2021, with the caption, “i love when hotels have a great view.” He and his fiancé, Carlyn Haffey, had been staying at a hotel outside of Rapid City, South Dakota when she decided to snap a photo of the vista and told him to post it with the joke. Holmgren, who is a professor of medicine and health policy at UC San Francisco, told Polygon via Twitter that, “Years of posting my research and my twitter legacy will forever be the aesthetic Taco Bell.”

The image took off on Jan. 8, years later, when user Punished Joj shared the image and compared it to a JRPG landscape. It fit a little too well, and now loads of people online are talking about the “JRPG Taco Bell.” Here is an image of Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles walking through the vast plains of South Dakota, I mean, Gaur Plain.

As is the rule with any good internet joke, everyone has to get in on the fun. People have been making images of their own and editing various landscapes from other JRPGs into the scene. People have edited in Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Final Fantasy 14, and Monster Hunter Generations, but I like Xenoblade the most.

You know, you can spend your whole life seeking adventure only to find it in your backyard. As a fellow midwesterner and someone who doesn’t live all that far from South Dakota, I get a lot of shit for living in a place that’s not a coast or major city. Next time I face that attitude, I can look someone dead in the eyes and say: But we have the JRPG Taco Bell.

  • 15 Best Twitter Reactions to Better Call Saul’s Latest Awards Snub

15 Best Twitter Reactions to Better Call Saul’s Latest Awards Snub

    [ad_1]

    Entertainment

Twitter had a field day with this one.

Better Call Saul saw the release of its final season in 2022, and it was a massive hit. Considered to be a crown jewel of television, this final entry in the show has already been seen as one of the greatest things TV has had to offer. With such an overwhelmingly positive reception comes awards, and Better Call Saul was expected to lead the way when it came to award wins. It would appear, in that case, as though someone is pulling a pretty sick practical joke on the show.

The series had already won zero Emmys throughout its six seasons, and was up for two awards at the Golden Globes; Best Drama Series and Best TV Actor for Bob Odenkirk. With the show walking away empty-handed, this means that it has been nominated for six Golden Globes and 46 Emmys since its premiere in 2015… and yet, it’s won zero.

Naturally, Twitter was having a field day with this one. Award snubs are a given, but when a show as acclaimed and beloved as this earns absolutely nothing from award shows, it’s definitely gonna sting. These are just some of our favorite Twitter reactions to this shocking snub.

*Warning: Some of the following tweets will contain spoilers related to Better Call Saul.*

Seriously, ZERO? That’s so bizarre for such a long-running show.

    Welp…there’s that…

Maybe with a touch more anger to go with it.

    It really does feel wrong.

And those who commit crimes must be punished. I guess we… Better Call Saul? Okay, I’ll see myself out now…

    If you know, you know.

When you crunch the numbers like that, it feels even more unfortunate.

    Not one?! Come on.

    The fans are starving!

Homelander speaks (or, I suppose, stares) for all the fans.

This is important to note. It doesn’t matter how many awards you win; if you have people like this that support your work and feel personally impacted by it, you’ve already won.

Five words are all you need.

    Asking the important questions here.

    Yeah, pretty much.

You know what? Let’s end this on a wholesome note. Major congratulations to Quinta Brunson and Abbott Elementary. Greats recognize greats.

So yeah, reception to Better Call Saul’s award snubbing has been predictably bad. But hey, it’s hard to deny such an incredible show’s impact, award wins or otherwise. Although this might sting now, the show’s long-term impact will more than make viewers forget a moment like this in an instant.

How do you feel about Better Call Saul being snubbed? Did it deserve more? Let us know in the comments.
