NEW JERSEY (PIX11) – It’s debate night in New Jersey as the candidates for lieutenant governor went head-to-head in a live debate on PIX11.
The leading candidates for New Jersey governor have chosen their seconds-in-command. Now, it’s time for the voters to decide.
Republican nominee Jack Ciattarelli has chosen Morris County Sheriff James Gannon as his running mate. Democratic nominee Mikie Sherrill has chosen Dale Caldwell, president of Centenary University.
The two went head-to-head Tuesday night at a debate hosted by PIX11 News and Kean University.
The live, 60-minute debate, moderated by PIX11’s Dan Mannarino and Henry Rossoff, started at 7 p.m. and aired across multiple platforms, including PIX11, PIX11+ and PIX11.com.
Gannon and Caldwell answered crucial questions about affordability, immigration, taxes, President Donald Trump, and energy production.
