CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
Today:
This morning is a much cooler start compared to the last few morning. This will set the stage for the coldest day of the week where highs will stick to the mid to upper 50s. It will also be a breezy day with winds gusting up to 20+ mph. The best part of your Sunday is that it will be sunny all day long! Don’t expect too many to any clouds in the sky today.
Winds should settle down throughout the day, and folks should cover their plants Sunday night. Frost is likely heading into Monday morning, with lows around 33 degrees. There is a very high likelihood of a light freeze or a frost by Monday morning, so be ready for full protection measures for those tender plants.
Monday:
Cold start with frost, then sunny, and milder, with highs in the mid-60s.
Pollen Forecast
With rain in the forecast, look for lower pollen levels on Friday and Saturday. Drier weather returns to the Carolinas on Sunday so pollen levels will rebound!
