Body found in burned car in Cleveland: homicide unit investigating

CLEVELAND (WJW) — First responders were called to a car fire on the east side of Cleveland early Saturday morning.

Cleveland firefighters arrived in the area of Aspinwall Avenue and East 138th Street just after 2 a.m. finding a burned-up vehicle. Upon investigation, a body was also found inside.

Cleveland police said homicide detectives did respond to the scene and an investigation is ongoing.

The body was transported to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office and has not yet been identified.
