Body found in area of Calaveras River where teen went missing in Stockton

(FOX40.COM) — The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that a body has been found in the Calaveras River close to where a Stagg High School student went missing on March 13.
The student went missing after a fight between two boys occurred at the campus around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the Stockton Unified School District.
“When administration tried to approach the teens, they ran and jumped into the levee that leads into the Calaveras River,” the school district said.
