The ruling came on Wednesday, ending a pause in the case for a mental health review. Judge Andrew Kendall confirmed that Harvey is competent and ordered that criminal proceedings resume, setting a preliminary hearing for October 10. Harvey appeared in court wearing paper garments issued to inmates placed on suicide watch. The case traces back to March 7, when Bakersfield police responded to a late-night call on Scarlet River Drive. According to investigators, Harvey’s wife told officers she was lying in bed with their four-year-old daughter when the 35-year-old accused her of cheating and then attacked her.
Her statement described a violent encounter where she was punched, kicked, and elbowed. She said Harvey briefly walked away before returning to strike and choke her again. The attack allegedly continued until she escaped outside and shouted for help. A neighbor stepped in and contacted authorities. Police documented visible injuries, including swelling, facial bruises, and red marks on her neck. By the time officers arrived, Harvey had already driven off in his wife’s vehicle.
Not long after, officers located the car on Hageman Road east of Patton Way and placed Harvey under arrest. According to court filings, he told authorities that his wife and the Illuminati were conspiring to kill him because of his connection to his younger brother, Blueface.
With Harvey now cleared for trial, the disturbing allegations against him will be examined in court, where his wife’s testimony and the evidence gathered that night will take center stage.
