Big Ocean Take It ‘Slow’ With Their New Single Featuring Day6’s Young K

[ad_1]

Big Ocean has constantly been on the move since their debut in April, and now they’re back with their third single, ‘Slow.’ The trio is the world’s first K-POP group who are hard of hearing and have been breaking barriers and paving the way for disabled idols and fans as well as for accessibility within the music industry. The release of singles ‘Glow‘ and ‘Blow‘ have seen them gain an ever-growing following as well as support from other groups including Stray Kids, SEVENTEEN, and ITZY, just to name a few.

Their third single, ‘Slow,’ is an empowering ballad that features Young K of DAY6 and is described by the members on TikTok Live to feel “like a hug” for Pado. Parastar Entertainment also shares that the release date of August 11th was chosen as it marks the closing day of the 2024 Paris Olympics and the beginning of the spotlight of the Paralympic athletes. The song was chosen to emphasize support for all athletes regardless of their outcomes at the games and to show support for their future journeys.

The music video for ‘Slow’ focuses on the three members signing the lyrics to the song in both KSL and ASL, which truly conveys the purpose and importance of Big Ocean’s existence as a group. The song delivers a message of hope that even if the journey is slow, embarking on it together means we can reach new heights and distances.

In addition to performing on a variety of music shows, Big Ocean have been busy making appearances at disability based events, including Digital Accessibility Festival in Brazil, where they performed their first two singles. We are so proud of everything Big Ocean are achieving and setting out to do, and cannot wait to see what the rest of 2024 has in store for them!

‘Slow’ is out now
