Bay Bridge accident Friday snarls traffic

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A hit-and-run accident on the Bay Bridge Friday afternoon snarled traffic on the eastbound lanes of I-80. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident, but traffic on the eastbound approach from San Francisco was severely backed up.

The accident occurred west of Treasure Island. No other information was immediately available.
