(BCN) — Tuesday will be the hottest day of the week in the Bay Area, with a chance of some inland locations reaching 100 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Daytime highs will be in the 90s across much of the inland Bay Area, with max temperatures in the 70s and 80s along the coast. Lows will be in the 50s and 60s, with light winds of 5-10 mph expected during the day Tuesday and gusts of 15-20 mph in some areas Tuesday night.

The hot weather will continue in the region Wednesday, with more 90-plus highs expected inland. The weather pattern is forecast to change by Wednesday afternoon and night, when there are chances for showers and thunderstorms that will extend into Thursday, according to the weather service.
