According to the CHP Facebook page, crews were rushed to help the iconic Batmobile after it found itself sidelined with a breakdown in the middle of rush hour on a busy Highway.

CHP said officers received a letter from the Bat Cave thanking the crews for their professionalism, quick action, and dedication to keeping everyone safe.

According to the letter, the 20-foot-long vehicle broke down, which — due to the usual chaos of the road, the unique nature of the car and the Concourse event attraction — presented some challenges to officers compared to a typical roadside incident.

After a while, CHP Officers Miller and Bahurla arrived at the scene, guided traffic away and arranged a safe transport to the vehicle so it could go “back to its lair” without a scratch, CHP said.

“Just like Gotham, California’s roads can be unpredictable. But while Batman protects his city, the CHP stands ready to protect the people of California, day or night,” CHP said.

Officials stated that to always stay vigilant and pull over safely in case of a breakdown and know that help is on the way.
