Ayo Edebiri co-signed the bubble dress trend

Ayo Edebiri is on a roll! She just delivered another stunning red carpet look that incorporates one of the hottest trends of summer 2024; bubble dresses.

For the premiere of The Bear season 3 last night, June 25, Edebiri went with a look that’s perfect for summer. With an elegant half-up, half-down hairstyle and a soft brown smokey eye, she wore a white strapless dress adorned in flowers from Loewe. As if the dress didn’t already fit the summer vibes, it also featured a bubble skirt with an asymmetrical hemline for a fun twist on the trend.

Though bubble dresses have been in the fashion cycle for years, the trend is resurfacing again now. The style has gone viral on TikTok with users calling it one of the hottest trends of the season, especially for special events and occasions.

This isn’t the first time Edebiri has sported a viral trend on the red carpet. Earlier this month, she actually included a couple of popular styles for her Inside Out! 2 premiere look. She wore a mint green monochrome suit set from Bottega Veneta that included a pair of culottes in lieu of trousers.

It’s no surprise that Edebiri is on top of the latest trends. The actor has been building up quite the portfolio. In May, she stunned at the Met Gala 2024 in another floral Loewe dress. The ombré frock fit the Garden of Time theme perfectly. (Nailing it on your first try is major.)

As the summer continues, we can’t wait to see what other looks Ayo Edebiri has up her sleeve. In the meantime, let’s just say we’ve been influenced to eye some bubble dresses for ourselves.
