New South Wales Police have seized cannabis with an estimated potential street value of $1.5 million, after a house raid in the Hunter Valley.

Officers received information that a building in Muswellbrook was being used to cultivate cannabis and started an investigation in March.

Police searched a home on Woollybutt Way around 3:40pm on Friday where they allegedly found a hydroponic set-up, harvested drugs and more than 200 cannabis plants.

Officers arrested two men in their 40s and a 35-year-old woman.
