Sure, watching the Australian Open on TV is the next best thing, but there’s nothing quite like actually being there courtside in Melbourne.
This year, one of Australia’s biggest talents will be in attendance for the first time.
Aussie supermodel, Elle Macpherson will be at the 2024 Australian Open.
Macpherson, 59, has been announced as the keynote speaker at the AO Inspirational Series, following in the footsteps of former speakers such as Billie Jean King, Anna Wintour, and Julia Gillard.
“Celebrating and recognising people’s achievements, particularly those of women, is close to my heart and something I aim to ground every day in practical ways,” she said.
“I’m so looking forward to being at the Australian Open for the first time and being part of this incredibly special AO Inspirational Series.
“I’m keen to share some of my story as well as checking out some amazing tennis at the women’s semifinals.”
The invitation only event will be hosted by Nine News anchor, Alicia Loxley.
