The investigation targeted drug sales across the Gastonia area.
Officers say they used a series of undercover purchases and surveillance to charge 23-year-old Jalen Williams.
Williams is facing multiple charges, including trafficking opiates.
Detectives say their investigation is not over yet and more arrests and charges could be on the way.
