Are Chris & Kay Kay Still Together From Love Island Games? What Happened After Their Shocking Dumping

[ad_1]

Warning: Love Island Games Season 2 spoilers ahead. Soul Ties is crazy… and so is Love Island Games Season 2. After their shocking dumping on Day 7, it makes sense why fans want to know whether Chris and Kay Kay are still together from Love Island Games Season 2 and what happened to them after they left the villa.

Vickala “Kay Kay” Gray, a fan favorite from Love Island USA Season 5, and Christopher “Chris” Seeley, a finalist on Love Island USA Season 7, were two of 10 original islanders on Love Island USA Season 2. They coupled up on Day 1 and stayed together until their elimination on Day 7, when they lost their respective duels to Andrea Carmona from Love Island USA Season 6 and Johnny Middlebrooks from Love Island USA Season 2.

“It feels sad to be leaving,” Kay Kay said before referring to power couple Nicola Gauci Borda-Warr from Love Island Malta Season 1 and Isaiah Campbell from Love Island USA Season 4, who were responsible for putting Kay Kay and Chris up for elimination. “As the power couple, they made the power play. They wanted to get the biggest competitors out of the game. I feel like we came in here, we made our mark in the villa and we went out fighting.”

Chris added, “We didn’t accomplish the goal, but at least we got each other. I’m going out proud, I’m not going to lie.” Kay Kay responded, “I’m proud of you too.”

Given that Love Island USA airs new episodes around two to three days after they’re filmed, it’s likely that Kay Kay and Chris are still together, at the time of writing. Whether they stay together is the real question. Kay Kay lives in Dallas, Texas, while Chris plays basketball overseas for the Indonesian basketball league team, Rajawali Meda.

Distance is also the reason that most couples on reality TV dating shows, including Love Island USA, break up, so Kay Kay and Chris have an uphill battle to climb. After Love Island USA Season 5, runners-up Kassy Castillo and Leonardo Dionicio announced that they had split due to the distance between them. (Kassy is from Fort Worth, Texas, while Leo is from West Hartford, Connecticut.)

She continued, “Everything was real and genuine, that’s what makes it harder now. Breakups suck. All that I ask is for everyone to give us time because it’s so new. I care for him so much and I wish it didn’t go this way but I really do think this is for the best. I hope soon… who knows? I’m open to anything in the future but it’s just not aligning. He doesn’t deserve any harsh words or comments.”

While Kay Kay and Chris live in separate locations and could face the same fate as Leo and Kassy, it’s also possible for their relationship to work long distance, like Season 6’s runners-up, Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi. Leah is from Los Angeles, California, while Miguel is from London, United Kingdom.

In an interview with StyleCaster in February 2025, Leah explained that she and Miguel made their relationship work post-Love Island USA because Miguel almost immediately moved to Los Angeles to be closer to her. “It’s always been my dream to have a barn so I can take in foster animals,” Leah told StyleCaster about her and Miguel’s plans to build a house together. “Miguel gets to pick one animal. He wants a cow. I want fainting goats.”

At the time of writing, Kay Kay and Chris follow each other on Instagram, which could be a good sign of their relationship.
