The Cleveland Blues Society, a local nonprofit that aims to promote “awareness and appreciation for the blues music” and to provide more opportunities for fans with concerts featuring “quality local and national blues artists,” has just announced the details of its 12th annual Blues Cruise, the major fundraiser for its scholarship and educational programming.
The event takes place at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 25, on the Goodtime III. Boarding begins at 6:45 p.m., and the boat returns to dock at 10 p.m. The music continues until 11 p.m.
This year’s lineup includes local blues luminaries Ronnie B, “Neon” Don Buchanan, Chris Burge, Mike Calhoun, Gavin Coe, Jack Flynn, Jarred Goldweber, Travis” Moonchild” Haddix, Lee Hill, Dave Morrison, Luke Pernici, T.J. Plechaty, Bill Ransom, Tony Severino, L.R. Smith, Natalie Stamper, Frankie Starr and Grady Wessollek.
