Amex Delta Cards Now Showing “As High As” Offers

American Express recently started showing “as high as” welcome offers on its Green, Gold and Platinum cards. These are offers that might say “as high as 175,000 points” and then when you get to the last step in your application it tells you that your bonus is for 80,000 points only.

Now these types of offers are showing up in Delta credit cards as well. At this link for example, you will see:

• Delta SkyMiles Gold Amex Card: As high as 80,000 bonus miles
• Delta SkyMiles Platinum Amex Card: As high as 80,000 bonus miles
• Delta SkyMiles Reserve Amex Card: As high as 100,000 bonus miles

Other pages still show the standard offers, which are fixed but showing a lower bonus.
