Aloha High School student arrested for drug distribution, gun charges

The student was arrested after a traffic stop, where investigators found multiple guns, cash, scales, ammunition, a knife, various drugs and more.
ALOHA, Ore. — A student at Aloha High School was arrested for his involvement in drug distribution and is facing multiple charges, including illegal possession of firearms, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO).
WCSO said investigators had information regarding the student posting images on various social platforms showcasing themselves with large amounts of cash, illegal drugs and guns.
On March 12, investigators conducted a traffic stop on a car that the student was driving near Southwest 163rd Avenue. After stopping the car, the student took off running away from the car. WCSO was able to find the student after attempts to escape and arrest him, according to the WCSO.
WCSO said during the arrest, officials found a semi-automatic “ghost” gun, two Glock 9mm magazines, ammunition, scales, suspected cocaine, marijuana, liquid promethazine, a knife, spent casings and cash.
The student was taken to the Washington County Juvenile Services Building and facing charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, commercial drug offenses related to cocaine possession, and marijuana possession, according to the WSCO.
WCSO investigated with the Westside Interagency Narcotics Team and detectives from the investigation division.
WSCO reminds parents, educators and community members to report any suspicious activities or concerns regarding drug distribution or guns to local authorities.
The investigation is still ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call the WCSO at 503-856-2700.
