Three years after the death of Stephen tWitch Boss, his mother, Connie Boss Alexander, and widow, Allison Holker, continue to battle it out in court.
“Unfortunately, shortly following my son’s passing, [Allison] refused to allow me or any other members of our family to communicate with or see the Minor Children,” Alexander alleged in court documents filed in September 2025, the Daily Mail reported on Wednesday, February 18. “At times, contact would be cut off altogether and only resumed after I reached out repeatedly. Over time, our communication became increasingly infrequent, and at this point, we’re no longer in contact despite my numerous attempts.”
She continued, “I believe it in the best interests of the Children to continue to have a relationship with their father’s family, especially now that he is no longer present in their lives.”
“My hope is that this Court can grant me limited grandparent visitation in a way that neither infringes on [Allison’s] autonomy or disrupts their life,” she added in her filing.
Holker — who has since relocated her family to Utah — claimed that Alexander rarely reaches out to speak to the children, and has turned down invitations to visit, the outlet reported.
“If Connie had called to speak to the children between April and September 2025 the children would likely have told her about our move as they were very excited about it and told everyone. At all times Connie has had all of the children’s contact information, including my telephone number and email and my assistant’s email and telephone number,” the DWTS alum, 38, alleged in her February 2 filing.

Holker has three children, daughter Weslie, 17, from a previous relationship, and son Maddox, 9, and daughter Zaia, 6, with the late dancer. She has since moved on and is engaged to fiancé Adam Edmunds.
Alexander’s lawsuit, which she filed in California, was dismissed on February 11 due to lack of jurisdiction.
