Allied Physicians Group, a Melville-based physician-led network, has completed its integration of the Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center of Long Island following a recent acquisition.
“This acquisition demonstrates our ongoing dedication to ensuring families across Long Island have convenient access to the specialized care they need,” Joshua Sleeper, president of Allied Physicians Group and Adjuvant.Health, said in a news release about the expansion.
Founded in 2004, Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center of Long Island, has locations in Hicksville, Babylon, Brentwood, Commack, Glen Oaks, Huntington, Oceanside and Westbury.
Drs. Harshit Patel, Daryl Altman, Sarah Sussman and Khalid Ahmad serve pediatric and adult patients at all of the locations. They provide expertise in allergy diagnosis and treatment, asthma management, chronic cough evaluation, care for eczema and atopic dermatitis, nasal polyps treatment, sinusitis and rhinosinusitis management, and sleep disorder care.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Patel, Dr. Altman, and their team into the Allied family. Their expertise strengthens our physician-led model, which empowers providers to deliver truly personalized care to every patient,” Dr. Kerry Frommer Fierstein, CEO of Allied Physicians Group and Adjuvant.Health, said in the news release.
“Our mission is to improve the quality of life for every patient we serve,” Patel said in the news release. “By taking the time to understand each individual’s needs, we can create comprehensive treatment plans that provide lasting relief and better outcomes.”
To mark the milestone, Allied held recent a ribbon-cutting ceremony, complete with local leaders and elected officials, earlier this month at 120 Bethpage Road in Hicksville.
