(FOX40.COM) — All lanes along eastbound Interstate-80 in Rocklin have been reopened after a multi-car collision on Monday morning closed the freeway for over an hour.

According to the California Highway Patrol Auburn station, at around 6 a.m. a vehicle was stationary in the number one lane for an unknown reason.

A second vehicle headed eastbound, collided with the stationary vehicle causing the vehicle to overturn and come to rest on the its roof in the center divide.

One person was transported to the hospital with complaints of arm pain.

The freeway has been reopened and traffic cameras show roadway traffic moving steadily through the area.
