ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Labor Day is this Monday, September 1, and Albany-based law firm Harding Mazzotti will be offering free $20 Uber vouchers. They will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Labor Day weekends typically see an increase in alcohol-related motor vehicle deaths. Harding Mazzotti’s Safe Ride Home program hopes to prevent driving under the influence on Labor Day and other holidays.
“Drinking and driving is not just illegal, it’s dangerous and completely avoidable,” said Harding Mazzotti LLP Managing Partner Paul Harding. “If part of your Labor Day celebration includes enjoying an alcoholic beverage, Harding Mazzotti encourages you not to drive under the influence and instead take advantage of our Safe Ride Home program’s free Uber vouchers.”
The $20 free Labor Day Uber vouchers can be claimed on Harding Mazzotti’s website and social media platforms on Monday. They will be valid in Albany and Plattsburgh areas from 12 p.m. through midnight.
