Acer decided that “normal refresh rates” were a personal insult, so at CES 2026 it rolled out a batch of gaming monitors and creator displays that lean hard into speed, resolution, and color, plus an RGB laser projector that tries to be a little nicer to the planet. Acer is basically covering every desk setup: esports sweat-fests, ultrawide immersion, 5K work-and-play hybrids, serious creator color workflows, and living-room projection.
Esports speed: 500 Hz is not enough apparently
The headline act is the Predator XB273U F6, a 27-inch IPS QHD panel that runs up to 500 Hz at 2560 x 1440, then jumps to a truly unhinged 1000 Hz using Dynamic Frequency and Resolution (DFR) at 1280 x 720. It is aimed at competitive players who care more about motion clarity and reaction timing than the meaning of life. AMD FreeSync Premium is included to keep tearing out of the way.
For people who want speed but also want pixels that look like something, the Predator X34 F3 goes ultrawide with a 34-inch curved QD-OLED panel at 3440 x 1440 and up to 360 Hz. With a 0.03 ms GTG (min) response time and FreeSync Premium Pro, it is tuned for fast shooters while still delivering that OLED-style contrast and color pop.
5K meets high refresh on the Nitro XV270X P
The Nitro XV270X P is the “do both” option: 27-inch IPS with 5120 x 2880 (5K) at 165 Hz, then a DFR mode that drops to 2560 x 1440 and pushes up to 330 Hz. That combo is interesting if you bounce between competitive play and detail-heavy work like photo edits, timelines, or UI layouts where 5K actually matters.
Specs-wise it checks the usual modern boxes: FreeSync Premium, very low GTG (min) response, wide viewing angles, and HDR support (HDR400). Ports include HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort, plus built-in speakers for people who enjoy disappointment in audio form.
ProDesigner PE320QX: a 6K canvas for creators
On the creator side, the 31.5-inch ProDesigner PE320QX targets color-critical workflows with 6016 x 3384 at 60 Hz over HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C. It leans into color accuracy with 99% Adobe RGB and 98% DCI-P3 coverage, plus a reflection-reducing panel that is meant to stay readable in bright rooms, not just moody studios.
Connectivity is unusually stacked: HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, USB-C/USB4 with up to 100W power delivery, plus extra USB ports and speakers. There is also a presence-sensing feature that can sleep the display when you are not there, which is either thoughtful energy saving or the monitor silently judging your breaks.
Vero HL1820: RGB laser projection with a greener angle
The Vero HL1820 is an RGB laser 4K UHD projector aimed at both movies and gaming, with HDR support, a claimed wide color gamut, and flexible placement tools like keystone and corner adjustment. It also highlights an eco angle with a mercury-free laser light source and recycled materials in the chassis, while still pushing bright output for living-room setups.
Pricing and timing vary by region, but Acer says the new monitors start arriving in North America in Q2 2026 (with EMEA generally following in Q3), while the Vero HL1820 projector is slated for EMEA in March 2026. In other words: the tech is ready, your wallet is the one that needs “availability.” Acer will surely be thrilled if you rearrange your desk to fit it.
