Up for your consideration is a custom made ledge from chinchilla cages. These are made from 18g galvanized steel. They are 8″ long by 6.5″ wide and the back is 1.5″ tall. Has a metal plate that extends the entire back to keep the wire from bending. 5/16″ hex bolts and wing nuts are used to keep these on a cage. The back bar prevents all cage wire from breaking. Will fit regular 16g wire as well as a ferret nation / critter nation cages. This metal doesn’t bend, it’s very well made. They’re great to prevent ringworm as wood harbors fungus whereas these can easily be cleaned. Great for warmer days where you don’t have your chilling stone cool, these cool better than wood!
