We’ve reached the time of year when the main outfit priority is to stay warm. Take it from me—I just returned from a very snowy trip in which my teeth chattered every time I stepped outside. As we all know, when dealing with below-freezing temperatures, the best item of clothing to wear to stay warm is a puffer jacket. They may not be as trendy as they were a few years ago, but the good news is that they’re a wardrobe staple that every closet needs.
Given the, well, puffy nature of a puffer, avoiding looking like the Michelin Man while wearing one is easier said than done. But it’s a challenge I’m always eager to take each winter.
