About 55 SMUD customers were without as of around 4:30 a.m. Monday after a car crashed into a power pole in Sacramento’s South Oak Park neighborhood.Emergency medical services were dispatched around 11:16 p.m. Sunday to MLK Jr. Boulevard just north of Fruitridge Road. It was unclear what caused the crash or if anyone was injured. Power was expected to be fully restored in the area by 5:45 a.m. according to the SMUD outage map.
