SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KGO) — The 49ers players and fans are ready for this rivalry game. So much is on the line this weekend at Levi’s Stadium as the Niners take on the Seahawks, which is airing here on ABC7.
“We’re really grateful to be in this opportunity and situation. But we can talk all we want. We have to go do it at the end of the day,” Quarterback Brock Purdy said. “We’re excited, and we’re going to do everything we can.”
It’s about as big a regular-season game as it gets this weekend at Levi’s Stadium.
By now, you know the stakes: an NFC West Division crown, the top seed in the conference and homefield advantage throughout the rest of the season on the line. The only team standing in the way of the 49ers: the Seattle Seahawks.

It’s a rival with bad blood felt by players and fans after years of huge games just like this.
“Wednesday I was like, ‘You guys want to go to the game?’ And here we are,” Jocelin Rexford said after travelling in from Arizona.
“I love their hatred for us and hopefully the Faithful will bring it this weekend for them,” Tight End George Kittle said.
Even the day before the big game, the Faithful were already gearing up. The 49ers Team Store was packed with fans loading up on all the essentials.
A big time rivalry game requires a big time rivalry uniform. The 49ers will be wearing all black this weekend, and they’re asking the fans to do the same.
Saturday will be the debut of the rivalries uniforms, inspired by and for the Faithful.
Every player was available at the shop from George Kittle, to Christian McCaffrey, Brock Purdy and more.
“They look awesome, man,” 49ers fan Faleiva Seti said. “So crazy, like the black knights or batman. We’re just ready to demolish everybody.”
If you look good, you feel good. And 49ers fans hope that means the players will play good, especially with it all on the line this weekend at Levi’s Stadium.
