(KRON) — Four people were shot at a business in San Jose early Friday morning. According to the San Jose Police Department, officers responded to the 800 block of South 1st Street on a report of a shooting.

The four people found shot at the business were transported to the hospital for treatment for gunshot wounds. As a result of the shooting, road closures are in effect on South 1st between Marth and Virginia streets.

The public is being asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes. An investigation into the shooting is active and ongoing, according to SJPD.
