3 found shot to death in Carmichael apartment complex, deputies say

The sheriff’s office said it received a 911 call that a home on El Camino Avenue was “shot up.” Deputies arrived and found the three inside.

CARMICHAEL, Calif. — Three people were found shot to death inside an apartment complex Sunday morning in Carmichael, authorities said.

Deputies received a 911 call around 7 a.m. a home along the 4800 block of El Camino Avenue was “shot up,” according to Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Amar Gandhi. 

Law enforcement arrived then found the three bodies inside, Gandhi said.

Homicide detectives were on their way to the scene as of 8 a.m. Sunday.

The call came in around 7 a.m., though deputies said they do not know when exactly the shooting happened.
