2 stabbed at school in Torrance, suspect in custody, police say

TORRANCE, Calif. (KABC) — A suspect was taken into custody after two staff members were stabbed at a school in Torrance Monday morning.

The incident happened at Switzer Learning Center on Amapola Court, according to the Torrance Police Department.

The two victims were rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Video from AIR7 showed what appeared to be a backpack and knife on the ground near the school.
