2 kids killed, 2 others injured in Brazoria County shooting, sheriff’s office says

BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — Two kids were shot and killed, and two others were injured in a Saturday morning shooting near Angleton, according to the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said they responded to a call on FM 521 and 288B, but it’s unclear if this is where the scene originated.

The sheriff’s office shared on Facebook that two kids, a 13-year-old and a 4-year-old, were shot and killed, and two others, ages 8 and 9, who were critically injured, were taken to the hospital.

Authorities said all individuals believed to be involved have been detained and there is no ongoing threat to the community. An investigation is ongoing into the matter.
