2 female teens shot, hospitalized in Cleveland: Police

CLEVELAND (WJW) — Two teens are recovering in the hospital following a shooting on the city’s east side early Easter morning, the Cleveland Division of Police reported.

Authorities were called to the 1400 block of East 111th Street just after 1 a.m. for reports of gunfire and potential injuries.

Upon arrival, they found two females, a 13-year-old girl and 18-year-old woman, had been shot. The younger one was shot twice in the legs and the other was hit in the arm and stomach.

Cleveland EMS took the pair to the hospital, where police say they are in stable condition.
