13-year-old hit by two cars while crossing street in Rancho Cordova

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. — A teenage girl was taken to a hospital after a hit-and-run collision in Rancho Cordova Wednesday night.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, the collision was reported just after 9:30 p.m. on Zinfandel Drive and International Drive.
A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said the girl was hit by two cars while crossing the street. One of the cars stopped after the collision, but the other kept going.
Deputies described her injuries as serious, but she is expected to survive. Authorities said the girl was 13 years old.
