1 killed in southeast Houston crash where pickup truck ended up on top of vehicle, according to HPD

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The Houston Police Department said one person died after a car accident in southeast Houston.

Police said they responded to Almeda Genoa Road near Cullen Boulevard just before 4 a.m. on Saturday.

HPD said callers reported a death in the crash and that a truck landed on top of a car.

Video from the scene shows a pickup truck on top of another vehicle.

HPD has not said if anyone involved was taken into custody or stayed at the scene.
