WASHINGTON — Police are investigating a shooting in Northeast.
On Monday, DC Police tweeted that a shooting involving an officer occurred at the intersection of 47th Place and Nash Street just after 9 p.m.
About 30 minutes later, DC police tweeted that one person was taken to a local hospital. Information about the person transported, including name, age, or where they are from, has not been released at this time.
This is the second shooting involving MPD in less than a week.
