Wonderful Workweek Ahead – WCCB Charlotte’s CW
[ad_1]
Our weekend is ending on a soggy note, but much more enjoyable weather returns to start the workweek. Variable clouds and a stray shower may greet you Monday morning as lows dip into the 30s and 40s, but skies will quickly clear by the afternoon. Patchy frost and freeze are possible in the mountains as highs only rise into the 50s; the 60s will settle into the Piedmont and Foothills. Winds return out of the southwest by Tuesday and temperatures will respond accordingly, quickly jumping into the 70s.
Highs will approach 80º in the Queen City on Wednesday ahead of a cold front that arrives in the evening. A stray shower or storm may pop up with the incoming front, but rain chances don’t appear impressive at the moment. Slightly cooler air will flow back into the Carolinas on Thursday, although highs should remain in the 70s in the Piedmont and Foothills to close out the workweek. More clouds and a few storms may return for April’s final weekend as highs swell back into the 80s.
