CLEVELAND (WJW) – The Cleveland Division of Police say the victim in an alleged kidnapping case has been found.

Cleveland officers were called to the 3400 block of West 92nd Street for reports of shots fired in the area.

According to police, a preliminary investigation revealed an unknown male fired multiple shots into the air and walked up to the victim, identified as a 33-year-old Cleveland woman, who was sitting in an SUV at the time.

Investigators believe the suspect hit the woman, forced his way in the SUV and drove off, heading east on Maywood Avenue.

The suspect was described as a “tall white male, bald head, dressed in black,” according to Cleveland police.

She has since been found safe, but Cleveland police say the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information on the incident should reach law enforcement at 911 or 216-621-1234.
