The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Wednesday, February 28.

Tacoma Area-Hood Canal Area-Seattle and Vicinity- Bremerton and Vicinity- Including the cities of Tacoma, Shelton, Seattle, Bremerton, and SilverdaleĀ 

WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 7 PM PST WEDNESDAY…

* WHAT…South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

* WHERE…Tacoma Area, Hood Canal Area, Seattle and Vicinity and Bremerton and Vicinity.

* WHEN…From 4 AM to 7 PM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
