PORTLAND, Oregon — On-and-off rain showers and gusty winds will continue for the better part of Sunday. Daytime highs will hit the upper 40s to low 50s in and around the Rose City.

The breeziest part of the day will be early afternoon, between noon and 3pm, where wind gusts will reach 30-40 MPH for the Oregon coast and the Willamette Valley.

We dry out Sunday evening just in time for our first 7 PM sunset at 7:10 PM.

A winter weather advisory continues today above 4,500 feet through early Monday morning. The cascades could see about 5-10″ of snow by when the advisory expires.

Rain ends Wednesday as high pressure will move in bringing us sunshine and warmer temperatures through next weekend. In fact, Portland could see the first 70 degree day on Saturday! This will sure be a treat as the average time Portland hits 70 degrees happens in early April.
