We are undertaking some planned work on the water supply network in the Wellington CBD. This means we must turn off the supply for a short time. The shutdown will affect properties in Customhouse Quay, Johnston St and Featherston St.

If this affects your property, you should have received a letter from us.

We expect this to take place from: 10pm-4am Wednesday and 10pm-4am Thursday.

When the water supply is turned back on, it’s a good idea to open a cold tap slowly then let it run for a minute or so to clear any air bubbles that may have entered the system. Air can cause the water to turn a milky colour, but this won’t affect the taste, and should clear quickly.
