A water rescue and search is underway Friday at Harris Lake in Wake County.
According to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, around 6 a.m. deputies received a report of a water rescue involving a boat at the Harris Lake boat ramp near New Hill.
One person was located and transported to the hospital, but crews are still searching for others who may be involved.
Wake deputies, EMS, the Holly Springs Fire Department and the Apex Fire Department are all currently on scene.
There was no additional information.
